About Me
Samuel Groner was born in Zurich, Switzerland. He graduated from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich with a MSc. in computer science, focusing on computational science, computer graphics and digital signal processing. He has carried out research in the field of audio restoration, speech signal processing, ambisonic sourround sound reproduction and audio signal dynamic range compression. He is working for Weiss Engineering Ltd. as hard- and software engineer.
Currently Samuel is studying for a MA degree in recording engineering/music production at Zurich University of the Arts. He is studying piano and singing. His musical activities include chamber music, choir singing and conducting as well as working as organist. As recording engineer and producer his work focuses on classical music.
Analogue electronics design has been one of his interests for several years. His work includes many discrete operational amplifiers and microphone preamplifers.
